One home region. One country or territory. Five comparisons, no timer.

Put a familiar part of Canada beside somewhere far away. Choose a province or territory and guess which place is larger.

WHAT YOU’LL COMPARE

A province or territory, not all of Canada

All ten provinces and three territories can be your starting point. Each is paired with a country or selected territory other than Canada. Islands follow the source map’s regional groupings.

Keeping the same home region across a round gives you a useful reference. Its outline may look different in scale once each new opponent is revealed.

Five questions at your own pace

Choose the place with the larger area. The outlines start fitted to their own cards, then rescale after your answer. There is no timer or speed bonus.

You can finish all five questions even if you get some wrong. Play another short round whenever you like; smaller sets repeat comparisons sooner.

Use the home-region menu above the maps to keep one familiar place throughout the round. Every question pairs a region with a country or selected territory, never with another region.

These comparisons use matching 1:10 million source maps. They measure area, not whether one shape can physically fit inside the other. Values can differ slightly from the world game’s less detailed map.

Want a longer run? Endless mode gives you three chances. Your progress stays in this browser, and sharing sends a friend the same question without the answer.

Results use approximate mapped areas, not official land-area or total-area figures. Read the data and coverage notes.
